I hold the bedside light and lock buttons on my door at the same time to reset the deterrent.
If what the guy above me says don't work, try one of the two following.
whip shotgun and blast fridge
or unplug till morning, your food will remain cold if door is not opened.
Answers: You can try this theory. Remove the old filter and see if the admonition stops. If not , try replacing the old filter and conceivably you can fool the machine. If these planning don't work, call the Whirlpool those and pick their brains. Good Luck.
