My Swimming Pool Goes Green despite bulk chlorine - Why???? I live in Perth WA. Pool is brackish and has 55000...

I live in Perth WA. Pool is brackish and has 55000 litres. I'm no tyro and had this fibreglass pool installed some 5 years ago. This year have been the worse to maintain water clear and hearty. The pool shops have made a fortune on me. Every time I progress to have the marine tested it needs something. I'm starting to believe these guys havent a clue at times.
I'm have a huge problem maintaining chlorine level in the hose down. I can add 2 or 3 cups contained by the evening and it will be all gone the subsequent day. Yes, i own plenty of staberlizer. My salt dampen chlorinator is working fine and everything mechanical is OK!. So what is ingestion all my chlorine so that my pool is turning green??????
You may be suffering from high TDS (total dissolved solids). The just thing that evaporates from your pool is h2o. This leaves losing all the chemical by-products and additives that come beside any product used in you pool. This stuff go no where unless you drain and replace next to fresh water / saline water. This build up make chemicals less effectual as it interferes with the chemical processes needed. It have a snowball effects as you will add more and more chemicals and they catch less and smaller quantity effective. You can hold this tested at your pool store, or buy a TDS test apparatus to confirm my suspicions.

I don't own a salt pool...however, I have a similiar problem with my fresh water/chlorine pool a few years ago.

Try taking a pool brush and scrub the sides and bottom of pool. Backwash the filter many times. (if I remember correctly it be about 3-4 times)

This worked for a while, however, the problem repeated itself roughly a month later. The later straw was I dumped the entire pool scrub the sides, filled it up and haven't have a problem since. About 3 years ago and still going well.

I apologize for not remembering the exact raison d`¨ētre but it was a few season ago. I do remember clearly the pool guy telling me the problem would not rectify itsef unless the the sides and bottom be scrubbed. Hope this help
Answers:    Try adding up Shock to the pool it usualy clears up green and foggyness. they make tablets you put contained by a floater and you can also add a packet into the pool that might backing . good luck... but for go to a pool supplier and notify them your problem and they could probably recommend something better than any answers you will get here .
