My sea kiln is 18 yrs. older. Lately it make popping noise when we use hot hose. Is it going discouraging? ...

TRY OPENING THE DRAIN PLUG AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK TO LET OUT THE SEDIMENT. THIS IS CAUSING THE POPPING SOUND BECAUSE THE SEDIMENT IS TOUCHING THE HEAT ELEMENT. TAKE CARE OF THIS PRONTO OR YOU WILL BURN OUT YOUR HEAT ELEMENT. OPEN THE DRAIN PLUG EVERY SIX MONTHS TO LET OUT THE SEDIMENT FOR MAINTENANCE.

Does the noise nouns like wet dripping onto something hot? Does it make a pop and a sizzle crack? Is there any sign of sea leaks around the bottom? That probably routine that it's leaking. After 18 years, you probably call for to have it checked.

Call around to several places and ask how much it would be to do this. The prices that some plumbers charge can change widely.
Answers:    DUH what are ya waiting for.... it to blow up? An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
