My refrigerator is leak hose. Its a Frigidaire, no Ice initiator. How do I fix this problem?
Answers: Your fridge has a small hole for defrost draining surrounded by the back of the freezer compartment.A small tube runs down to a container either lower than or next to the compressor. The grill from the compressor and the fan evaporates the sea in the vessel. As the gentleman said if the defrost oven fails the hole will plug up and exact this problem. This also can happen if the freezer is overfilled preventing middle-of-the-road operation, as well if the freezer door is not completely shut for a short interval of time water will freeze over the drain hole and it will freeze over cause the same issue. You can remove the hanger-on cover and see this drain hole, sometimes you will have to put money on cover to see the drain. Either way find the drain and verbs it out,you can use a hair dryer or pour thaw out water down it. To be sure verbs the fridge out from the wall, remove the card board cover at the bottom and you can see water coming thru when the drain is clear. Give this a try it may solve your problem. Be charge full not to overload the freezer many individuals do,and make sure the door is other completely closeed. Hope this helps.
If it's frostless element, this is quite conventional when the evaporator heater fail. What is happening is the freezer/refrigerator is condensing the moisture from the upper air and it goes down a small drain tube. The drain tube hit a small try beside a heater coil contained by it and then it evaporates. Call a serviceman and own them replace/repair the heater component. It is two wires to a terminal point and easy to install if you thoroughness to try it.
