We recently discovered that my above ground pool is leak.. it's actually spraying out the side wall of our pool on the outside awfully slowly. I have discovered the source, here are two 1 inch slashes in the pool. One on the seam and one right above it. We've talk to several pool stores on how to handle. Patching is difficult, my husband tried, doesn't hold up. We be also told that if we patch it - what will happen to the hose that already is in the wall? Will it bring down the wall of my pool? My husband be taping the outside of the pool to try and hold it, but I expect this may be bad also because the marine has no place to dance and will be forced between the liner and the outter wall which my fear is will break through collapse. We are looking to seize a new liner but is the sprain too far done to the outer wall to just do a liner rework? It's only a spray coming through, not a voluminous whole but am afraid of what might transpire. If anyone has experienced this, I requirement help!
Answers: Yes I did own one, but i don't understand why patching did not work. Of course you already know this but, to put a patch on you own to make sure the liner is verbs, brush it lightly, wipe beside rag at most minuscule 2 or 3 times. If it peels past its sell-by date, you know it wasn't clean, a hole or slice that big, will require at least possible 4 patches one over the other, and extending 2 inch's respectively time, sidewall of pool if aluminium don't worry, if wooden, where on earth spraying out go directly to the bottom, and drill a drain hole within the wood of course. At any instance it shouldn't be hermetic at the bottom anyway. and water pressure will drive out remaining marine in wall, when dribble is fixed.
Can you get a foreign liner? Try to visit the pattern site of the manufacture of your pool ,IE: Sand and Sun,or christen the toll free number on the side of the box. (you can if it's last yr's model, shift into the store and see if you can find a number on the side of the box.) If this is last years pool DO NOT RETURN it to the place you bought it from. They simply guarantee it for 90 days in store -if that, because it's a seasonal item.
