The gas line nouns is working fine throughout the house. The starter for the dryer is electric. Everything else on the dryer is working fine, it just will not fry. Any suggestions??

within my experiance it may the h.s.i. that is the hot surface ignitor which ignite the flame. 9 times out of ten thats what the problem is. if you remove the bottom plate pannel you will see on the right a gas control which in front will be the burn tube. look for a small piece that will be attached to the side of the burn tube next to two white wires and a plug attached that will run back to a electrics harness but there will be for a while tag that say either ignitor, starter, or h.s.i. if you onun- plug it from the connector and do a continuity check and if you enjoy none then specifically your problem. make sure you turn the power past its sell-by date
