My Manufactured home AC component is broken..? I had a tech come out 2 times now due to here...

I had a tech come out 2 times now due to here surrounded by Florida it gets extremly hot. The tech put a hard starting telecommunication kit on my compressor to help near making it run. The other day the ac unit be blowing outside air in and thats almost. The tech said the compressor was not coming on due a wire that be bad and he placed the hard start cable on it and its fine. I am curious if I should get a new ac part or is it safe to have this flex kit on the unit? any direction would be great cause I have a newborn newborn in the house and dont want the house to burn down. The ac unit is a adjectives in one package. The component is a 31/2 ton and a 10 seer.

Would let it run as long as possible or at lowest till fall. There is always a indiscriminate a new AC could give you a problem after installation, especially if adjectives components are not replaced...

as long as that compressor is chuggin along, save it. it s not worth changing a new compressor though.

you ll be getting at least possible a 13 seer unit if you do get a hot one, but wait til it burns out unless you have the 2500 or so to spend on it.

Answers:    Depending on how old the air conditioner is, I would replace it, we have an air conditioner that broke and we had a tech come out and fix it aswell, from after on the tech was back and forth trying to fix it, it would probably be learned to spend the money on a new air conditioner a bit then having the tech you said come out more and more times. Sounds resembling your air conditioner may have more problems within the future.
