My knob won't enter fully enter into chamber of the lock? Same for my spare? The key is one and only going in 1/3 of the style...
The key is one and only going in 1/3 of the style to the housing of the lock... and the refuses to travel in any further.
I've tried a bit of wiggle it, gently.. tried a slight amount of force (but not too much incase raison d`¨ētre more damage)......... Any ideas of what else I might try?
I notice it resisting a bit the other day... difficult to carry key contained by... but now it's lately not letting the key surrounded by at all.
It's a standard type of knob and lock.... like you'd bring back on a normal front door for a UK house.
deeply much like this one:

Answers: Inside your lock in attendance are a bunch of pins (tumblers) that move up and down when you insert your key. The bumps on the push button line up the pins so that you can turn the lock and interested the door.
I suggest going to a hardware store and buying some spray lubricant (WD40) and spraying inside where you insert your switch and try to put your key surrounded by and do this a few times. this will unfreeze any pins that may be sticking and the lock should work smoother.
sounds like your vat is faulty, replace the lock as soon as possible in the past you cannot get surrounded by your house.
