What is the problem? What should I do? Help?
when the freezer freezes and the bottoms melt thats called the compressor adherent thats not working try turning the fride over or partiality and clean the bottom near a vac then return it to the adjectives position then crankk the settings to max an nouns movement under the fridge no consequently get the enthusiast part number and writ from the sears kenmore website or a parts warehouse online its should be more or less 40.00 mine is a kelvinator for pop in the crypt took about three minutes to remove the mature one and go to my local parts agent they sent one in three days 40, and its freezeing close to thirty years ago good luck theres a book for trouble shooting these at the B&T slot of the library OK

First of adjectives , it is a Kenmore.
That said, you probably have a switch that have gone out. It is rare that the two lines that control fry extraction from both units would turn out at the same time. The certainty that the freezer is getting colder than you want while the rest of the compartment is barely cold funds that you are indeed getting coolant movement, but exchange is not happening the path it should.
Before calling a repairman, I would first unplug the entire unit for a few minutes and replug it. That will release adjectives switches in pumping mechanism. If that doesn't fix the problem, then you probably hold to have someone come and fix a damaged switch or valve, something most of us laymen cannot do effortlessly. However, I would not suggest any kind of potential problem to the repairman. Let him wish what is wrong and do the fix. I speak from recent experience. Thought a timing belt had gone out and made that statement to the repair shop, who stupidly took me at my word. They done up doing some major movement of parts including wet pump only to find out what I have said was not right, and it be something as simple as the distributor cap. Difference be about $350 because I have to pay for their hours working on what I have thought was wrong.
Answers:    Please do not turn you refrigerator over!!! It is always a correct idea to engender sure the compressor and condenser tubing be kept clean surrounded by order for proper air-flow to cool the motor. Most predictable the problem is caused by a problem withair not mortal able to move accross the the evaporator coil. This coil may be concealed within the floor of the freezer or behind the vertebrae wall of the freezer. Removing the inside trim will reveal the coil. An evaporator fan blows nouns accross the coils and some may be directed towards the bottom compartment. If the fan fail there won't be any nouns movement and the evap coil will turn to a solid block of ice which will hold on to the top cold, but prevent air moving to the bottom. Another rationale of ice build up is a inconsistent defrost system, consisting of a timer, heating unit, wiring, termination thermostat. You will inevitability test equip to verify which cog. One other cause of rime build up is that the drain system which allows the defrost water to drain to a vessel underneath the unit may be blocked by ruins. Melted ice cream, spilled juice, fresh blood from meat can all raison d`¨ētre this issue. Usually pouring hot water into the drain will disolve the blockage.
