Answers: It way possibly be too much soap powder cause it to foam up and come out of he vent, you can check this by looking at the back panel ,look for dried up soap powder beneath the vent hole at the back this shows that soapy wet has be running down the back.
It wouldnt really be a gush of hose down tho but it can look like it sometimes.
Its a possibility that the filter is blocked, though i'm sure you must own tried this.
