There are no leaks. There be a lot of construction contained by my area due to nouns. That was 15 years ago though. Within the ending 2 years it has dwindled. the pressure is great when you first turn the dampen in the tub on but after around 20 seconds it drops to just about 1/3. Any ideas? Like I said. No leak and this started about 2 years ago and gotten worse. Help..I miss my shower.
Answers: I bet you own 1old calcified iron pipes or mud setteling ion the line or 2you own to small a main row coming into your home all together. Did you or your plumber install 1" basic line to your home? Are you on a municipal sea service? If your neighbors are on the same biggest line and they don't seem to be to have a problem you can execute a little audition. Turn on an outside faucet with hose attached. Hold it horizontal and standard the distance the water comes out the hose earlier it falls This shows you pressure with it alone on. Then turn on the washer, the kitchen sink and the lav contained by bathroom and the tub faucet. recheck your water hose height outside and if has diminished you most probable have too small a key line to your home or degree or mud may be restricting the flow. Check your shower head and produce sure it doesn't have a blind stopped up. Take the shower head stale and inspect for lime scale. You might know how to clean it next to lime away or CLR but the finish might come off too so afterwards you have to replace it anyway. Can you ask the dampen utility to increase pressure?
You may have to install a pressure gage to see where on earth and when you loose this pressure.
If all this fail it could be a 1defective valve not allowing full flow, but it should do it adjectives the time if this was the luggage.2 A setteling of the floor could have kinked the sea line to your bathroom. 3 when this started 2 years ago did you own any plumbing redone replaced or repaired? 4DO you enjoy a water filter on your biggest line?
Would you please take back to me and tolerate me know what you find out. Thanks
the rubber parts in the stopcock are worn out and need to be replaced. the "hint" to that is to say; it's fine until it gets hot marine to it. what has happen is the o rings and such have swollen and shrunk too frequent times, and lost their form. your valve can be rebuild as long as the parts are still available for it, and as long as the metal parts are still in well-mannered shape. if not, you may own to replace the entire valve, which would hand over you the safety side of a pressure balancing stopcock, no more scalding when the toilet is flushed. this is assuming that you are on city water and not a powerfully, if that's the case, you could hold a problem with the pump not individual able to keep hold of up with the emergency. but you would also notice the problem beside the other fixtures in the house, too. you can buy a utensils from a plumbing supply company or hire a plumber to do the job. dutiful luck.
