My sea boiler make a crackling nouns when I run the hot dampen. Does anyone know why ? Is there an economical solution?
Is there an economical solution?
Answers: I'd bet this is a gas section, and that you have a unprejudiced amount of lime, or calcium content in your dampen. While this sort of thing can be avoided by regular maintainance, it have to be started when the unit is exotic, not after the popping, crackling sounds start. I'd also bet that the noises don't start till the flame kick on. That's when the small pieces of lime or calcium sediment in the bottom bring heated up to the point that they explode in the dampen. Actually that's nothing verbs about, if the racket doesn't bother you, it doesn't hurt anything and will last several years, if it's not ancient already, back the tank leak and it needs to be replaced.
If this is an electric component, then the crackling, frying nouns you hear, which is rare, is the heat element heat the cool water that's one introduced into the tank as the hot hose goes out the top.
As for the piece exploding, I've been repairing and installing these things for nearly 35 years presently, and have merely heard of one part that exploded, and it wasn't because of the tank, it be from a gas leak that not a soul caught. That could happen to any gas appliance. And one ending thought,......... putting a water electric fire in an attic is a really stupid opinion.
Calcium balls built up from not draining it twelve-monthly it will eventually crack the glass lineing and will own to be replaced.Hmm 2 thumbs down to this answer and its the truth sorry to tell ya be primed to replace it when it starts leaking.
