I used to have to a moment ago wiggle the door and it would verbs to cook but now I own to hold the door up the whole time it is cooking. The timer works but the turntable does not turn unless the door is held up. I checked the door latch and they are fine. I can hear the lower micro switch engage if I press on it terrifically lightly. I do not see an upper micro switch. Any suggestions?
Answers:    You didn't influence what model or if this is an over the range part. They are all pretty much matching. I doubt you will be able to see the microswitches unless you enjoy taken the control panel off. There should be 4 switches and they will be double ganged. Unplug the mechanism and discharge the capacitor before you start to tinker. (Just place an insulated screwdriver across the two terminal of the capacitor. Then take a meter and check the switches. Has the door be compromised? Are the hinges tatty in any mode? This will certainly affect the switching.
Sounds to me close to the door inter-lock micro switches need to be used to . You have to hold the door up for it to work ---- so that kinda tell you right there.
Take the cover sour ---- of course you're going to unplug it first.
Then subsequent I would "short across" the capacitor terminals using a insulted bar screwdriver ---- it may 'Crack" when it discharges the stored up electrical charge --- .
Then look where the door closes ---- you will see how the inter-lock switches work --- probably both will be a single plastic holder held by a couple screw ---- loosen the screws and move it up (probably up) or down til you see the switch operate next to the door closed --- then tighten the screw .
Then put a glass of dampen inside and see if it"s ok.
You may need to do this a couple times to capture it right --- but anyway this is where the problem have to be fixed.
