I cleaned it out and oiled the threads when I lived near her and this worked. She says that technique works for her solitary 50% of the time. Is there any giant temperature plumber's video (or something like that) to maintain this thing from leak? Or any other suggestions?
Answers: PTFE Tape, like $1.50 USD for 50 yard x .5" of it...Any hardware should have it (thread cassette they call it).
Although I suggest getting a topical one for around $15, generally save the headache of "saving" an old one.
Put the magijjabob contained by the watchamacallit and the thingymabobber into the whateverthatis. That should do the trick!
