My fridge didnt catch cold. HELP !!? Okay.. I have a fridge which i havent used for few months....

Okay.. I have a fridge which i havent used for few months.
Yesterday i started using it..
But the problem is..it didnt get cold, my stepmom said the defrost button might enjoy been pushed. I tried to pushed it back so it'll turn back normal. But nought happen.
Should i call repairman or of late buy new??
Or maybe u can speak about me to quick-fix it.

Answers:    There's 2 knobs u should check. 1- setting for ur freezer - it should be set at 3 or 4 2.- setting for fridge. also 3-4. U should hear the fan running. and the compressor humming. If that still don't work. I am sure ur gonna necessitate a service man to charge up the system. If they don't run for a period of time. The refrigerant evaporates. (leaks)
