My ex innkeeper requirements to hold me responsible for the septic within my mature rental, he claims I unobserved the alarm? I heard a loud pitch clamour outside, so I went over...
I heard a loud pitch clamour outside, so I went over to the grey box within my yard, ( the septic box) and on it be a big sticker that says if alarm go off push red button, so I did the thud stopped. This happened twice in a year time. I did not notify my landlord, didnt even suppose about doing so. When I moved out, He states that he have to replace something with the septic, costing him $900.00 and is taking me to court. Am I responsible for this. After I moved out and the house be vacant for 2 wks, I drove by the house and the alarm be going off, so who know how long is was going stale.
no ur not...when the alarm goes past its sell-by date it means that the pump have shut off and letting u know that..by u resetting the alarm u did the right entity.on mine if i tryto reset and there is still a problem it will see off and the alarm goe ff again...simply way to stop the alarm is to flip the breaker within the gray box ...

The problem we face here is proof.
Take a photo of the sticker and produce it contained by court.
Were there any written instructions from your proprietor in relation to the septic system?
Did your lease or rental agreement contain any instructions?
In the non-attendance of any extraneous matter, the hotelier is responsible for maintenance and repairs.
Did your innkeeper inspect the premises on a regular time frame?
Was there any adjectives damage at the time of your vacate the premises?
Did the landlord inspect the premises without delay following you vacating?
Did the manager seek to hold you repair the apparent problem?
These question must be answered if the landlord have any hope of a successful legal act.
Answers: He would have to prove it first- permit him take you to court and show up within a nice suit with a verbs shave. If you have cell phone bill or phone bills next to his number on it-take that with you and update the judge that on that time you called him and told him near was an alarm that you didn't humiliate but reported. HE told you to push the red button-you did and it stopped the alarm-you don't know anything more about it. It is his responsibility to know what's going on near the property not yours.
i doubt he has a skin, did he leave instructions on what to do if the alarm go off?you followed the instructions you have so if all that is to say true he has no covering.tom
