My dryer trips the breaker solely when it's cold out.?
My dryer is on an enclosed rear legs porch and it works fine when it's above say, 60 degree. But any colder and it will trip the breaker. Why is that?
Answers: The heater coil inside the dryer isn't designed to be on constsntly throughout the cycle. Since it's cold out on the porch it's working sturdy enough to draw too several amps from the breaker and thus it trips. Do you have a road to warm up the porch? Or possibly upgrade the breaker? You could also merely move the dryer into the house.
i thank i would move the dryer in to the house. it to cold for it out at hand
