the thing is one and only a couple years old. When you press the button nil happens. It is an electric dryer, does anyone know what it could be? Is within a fuse that is out inside the dryer, could it be the electrical outlet? How can the lighting be on but the dryer does not work? it does not spin or anything.
Answers:    It is very possible that it is a moment ago the door switch. Open the door and see if you can find where the switch is and push it contained by. The light should turn bad whenn pushed in. If the door switch is ok, you probably own a bad thermal fuse. Very once in a blue moon does the start switch go bleak. Need to know more about the dryer. Age, Brand, etc. Feel free to contact me near your appliance problems.
First look at the fuses or breakers in the branch circuit panel. The dryer uses 220, but the kerosene lamp is on 110. The overcurrent device for the other side of the circuit might have tripped.
