Look in the phone book for the number of the poison control center and phone up them. If it is poisonous to humans, it's probably poisonous to your dog. Ring the vet, they should know.
Answers: I doubt it, or otherwise the Health and Safety mob would have banned them, surrounded by case some toddler tried sucking one.
I bet the dog regrets the experiment. They have such an acute sense of smell, and he/she will probably hold ruined it for the day.
