My dog ate the wires that connect the outside ac unit to my wall! He ate thru them until that time but we were competent to cover them up and keep the ac section working. Now, the ac doesnt even turn on. My fiance stated that he thinks he blew the circuit? Please relieve this is my 1st home and its only 2ys elderly!!!

Answers:    If it is a straight cool unit only just kill the power and cut bad the bad partition and rewire color to color. It should be a white and red wire especially small. If it was the power (240 volts) you would hold breakers tripped and scorch grades, it should be in conduit. These should be the low voltage wires anyway. T-stat wires dont have need of conduit for the building codes here.This is a very adjectives service call right at the rear my son hit it with the weedeater.
