it was disconnected while underground room was worked on and when reconnected, it will not drain out hose but only just floods the floor. am I doing something wrong?
Answers: I'll bet the hole where it drains is plugged up try disconnecting the hose and poking a rope up it....
Check the hose connection. If it's a well-mannered connection consequently it's probably blocked either within the hose or where the hose mounts. You can try jab a hanger up through the hose and / or try hooking up a shop vac up to the hose and see if you can suck the clog through the hose. If neither one of these work then you will enjoy to disassemble the humidifier and manually clean everything out. GOOD LUCK!!
