Answers:    Sounds approaching you may need somebody to look at it. If it's be sitting, maybe the gas is discouraging or the carb needs work. May inevitability a new spark plug or "tune-up". Likely something unforced to fix.
Basic recipe: Gas + spark = fire
You need to see that the gas and spark are where on earth they need to be at like peas in a pod time(inside the engine cylinder), then it will fire.
May have need of to charge the battery. I can singular guess from what little you have said here.
First check the spark. If it doesn't enjoy spark it could be a bad ignition module. If it have spark put a teaspoon of gas in the spark plug hole and try to start it. If it starts and stops right away it is most expected a fuel problem. Remove the hose from the carburetor and make sure that the gas is flowing freely. If it does the problem is plausible the carburetor. It will have to be removed and cleaned. Also check to be sure that the soleniod chain is attached to the bottom of the carburetor. This is a fuel shut off and it have to be working to get fuel to the carburetor biggest jet. You should be capable of hear it "click" when you turn the key to run.
