My Baumatic oven is cause a switch to trip-where do I start? Even with adjectives other electrical items switched off at the walls,...

Even with adjectives other electrical items switched off at the walls, when I turn on the oven, a switch contained by the main box responsible for several wall sockets trips after a few second. The hob, which is also Baumatic doesn't cause this on its own. Sorry, I haven't a clue give or take a few electrics. I can't say what model the oven is. I hold put a few pictures of oven and fusebox here http://www.pbase.com/type/gallery/ovenpr... if it's any help. Can you relate me where to start checking what's wrong and filch no prior knowledge of electrics for granted? Thanks!
I'd progress for one of the elements, you can pin point the problem by seeing which setting cause's the trip to activate. near are only two elements within you oven and the most lightly one would be the admirer element. If its fusing on both of the settings, after the cause could be the thermostat, It might be worth getting an finagle out to check it.

It's a typical symptom of moisture in the oven somewhere.

The switch (which have 30mA printed on it) looks for current imbalances, and it think that someone somewhere may be getting a shock.

As you have no sockets on your hob/oven you could enjoy the circuit moved to the non-RCD side. Other than that, leave the door of the oven unequivocal to try and dry out any moisture. I have see this fault arise after the oven have been cleaned and wet hasn't fully dried out... You've also very little to lose by turning a hairdryer on it...
Answers:    I would voice it's the oven element but unless you enjoy the correct test equipment you can't trial it yourself,so you will have to phone up out a sparks!
