Answers:    After checking the aerator If this be a 2 handle antiquated faucet take rotten the supply lines and check to see if a screw from one of the washers fell in the supply line( supply column 3/8 copper tubing going from valve beneath sink to faucet connection) Or if its an older home check to see if you own galvanized wet piping ,over years of use galvanized pipe rusts from the inside out and cause loss of pressure in hot and cold lines or if you enjoy a pressure problem throughout the whole house it might be your prv spout on your water meter (pressure reducing valve) Might own to be turned up a bit try checking the water pressure next to a gauge . Good luck
sounds similar to you have something surrounded by the line stopping it up--take investigational faucet off again and flush lines out existing good-flush water backwards thru faucet attempting to flush it out-try again-as long as you hold pressure to service lines you know thats good--had same problem one time-all it was a speck of what ever it be stopped whole sink from working
