My air conditioning unit outside my house is on but i find no air inside the house. Checked the thermostat and everything is working okay but still the problem?
On as in running? if it is running, continuously, not intermittent, check you blower motor belt surrounded by the furnace, check to see if the furnace fan is running, could be a thermostat problem, if the condenser runs, then rotten, then on, then past its sell-by date, HVAC tech need to check freon pressure, HVAC Tech.: You need to turn sour the outside unit NOW. as for the lack of nouns flow that could be a burned out blower motor, or its capacitor, a defective fan switch, or thermostat gone bad.
You need to have that out door component shut off right away. You can cause serious compressor mischief by letting it run away with no indoor fan running.
There are three possible problems.
1. The contactor on the outdoor section is broken not letting it shut off.
2. The indoor fan is adjectives out.
3. The control board on the furnace could be broken as well.
Depending on how the system was wired the thermostate may hold a roll in this problem as well. However you could check that by shutting sour the the T-stat and see if the outdoor unit shuts off. If it does I would put money on the indoor admirer motor being broken.
