I have two a/c unit in my condo, which are built into the wall or structure.

Obviously the unit are attached to a thermostat, and go stale entirely when the selected room temp is reach. When they're on, the fan is blows adjectives the time, but one unit make an annoying buzz frequently, lasting for in the order of 3 seconds. It sounds electrical, as though it's the din made by something that kicks the compressor contained by. It usually goes within waves, as though it'll attempt to see in three times, next to about 20 secs between attempts, & afterwards finally it gets into gear. but it's not long up to that time the compressor seems to disengage, starting the integral process all over again.

I don't really know what I'm chitchat about, so my use of the word compressor might be incorrect.

Could it be that whilst the indoor room temp is set low plenty for the unit to be on, the outdoor temp is too cool for the unit to work efficiently? What could be cause the buzz to sound 3 or 4 times up to that time kicking in the element?
Answers:    That would be your compressor trying to start. If this happens the first time you turn it on after one off 15-30 minutes afterwards that is impossible news. That would suggest the compressor is going out. If it cuts out when running it may be drawing too much power.

But if it is not doing this the FIRST time it starts later you have something adjectives in and out resembling a thermostat, overload, or relay.

That would be more likely to be affordable to fix and the disaster to made a quick restart against pressure is more average. The compressor needs to loaf to restart since it can't start against pressure and cycles off by the overload and does that humm click 3 or 4 times.

Good Luck
Sounds close to a chattering contactor to me. If it is it will get worse and worse.
