People swear by it, but it seems to enjoy done nothing but screw things up for everyone I know. Please assistance! I have a house (it's not my major place of residence) in a national forest. The floors are an awesome American Cherry. People who hold stayed there used Murphy Oil Soap on it. The floor is shiny contained by some parts and dull in others. In certainty, you can see the sweep marks next to oil soap build-up right subsequent to totally untouched barren spots. It's now as dry as can be, and no other cleaner can carry rid of the build-up. What are my options? What can I do to restore my wood flooring? (It's solely two years old!) Thank you completely much in credit.
Answers: I only use Murphys when I'm removing gunk wax build-up on an out-of-date piece or where in attendance is wax build-up(like around the edges of the room). I put floor wax on my wood (soft pine) floors.
Don't judge but I use the cheep stuff (no-name floor wax)cause I enjoy soo many kids & soo much floor. Always use a fundamentally clean or modern mop to apply wax.
The guys at Sherwin -Williams told me when I built that with my volume of foot traffic I would want to repoly every few (5) years.Because the high volume wear away the finnish. I've avoided this so far by waxing & the spots "vanish". So far anyway.
Hope this help.:) Good luck to you.
Old English Furniture polish Best thing going for any wood furniture or floor. It add moisture and luster. When I worked for Henredon Furniture, a very glorious end brand, it be their recommendation for maintain the furniture. When I replaced the carpet contained by my house with oak flooring (Bruce pre-finished) I started using it on them. After 3 years they still look unknown. I even got the non-warranted Bruce.
Hope this will help out you. BTW I'm not a fan of Murphy's any.
