i rent a apt in california apt is verbs just similar to first day of move-in except the runner just minor dirt grades no stains is it legal for them to subtract money from my security deposit so they could verbs the carpet? and wat else could i expect them to charge me for and can i avoid this??????
Answers:    I cannot see them keeping your deposit for dirty carpet.
That is normal wear and tare.

Keeping the protection deposit is usually for abuse to the apartment, such as holes contained by walls, abuse to the appliances, broken window, broken hardware on doors.
Something that is if truth be told broken that you caused.
Burn results in the mat, or holes.

Check your rental agreement and look at the fine print. If it says anything something like soiled carpets, after you have no recourse. If it doesn't state anything, and they do maintain your security deposit, I would markedly fight it.
:-)
If you move out of an apartment and here is nothing shabby for example: walls, doors, appliances, windows etc.. next there is no object to hold any of your security deposit from you.
