My room is so damp I have mould growing on the walls. My house is 500 years behind the times with limestone walls.

Then put a bowl of potpourri in the bath, but put a piece of Charcoal lower than the potporri , It will absorb the mosture, yes it does.

how can your house be 500 years old and you are still living in it?? that would scrounging it was made in the 1500's... and i'm thinking houses later just weren't the same as even 150 years ago...

Answers:    Buy a humidity remover machine.You can slaughter the mold with bleach water, but you inevitability a professional if it keeps coming back. You shouldn't be sleeping within there-it is very bad for your strength!

Water is getting into your walls from somewhere. You need to find out and stop the leak...it will produce or may have already caused some serious plunder. It could be from the gutters being blocked or old roofing. Get a professional out to check it or it could cost much more if you continue. Plus, mold can be dangerous to your health.
