Mold or mildew surrounded by my bathroom ceiling? what is it, and how do i bring back rid of it? and whats the cause? ...
I beleive a fungus or microbes growing from moisture causes it, and bleach will clean it away but chances are it will reappear soon. Use vodlka. It will execute the fungus or bacteria and it won't grow spinal column.
It is caused by too much humidity. I enjoy the same problem at my house. It wasn't too doomed to failure until I had the wife and kid move surrounded by. Now we have 2-3 showers every morning and damp towels slack in near 24-7.
I make everyone run a supporter that vents outside during and after their shower and I am putting within a small dehumidifier that fits on a shelf to help. I guess the next step will be to hang down the towels in the bedrooms.
To procure rid of the mildew/mold on the ceiling I use a big sponge (like you would use to wash your car) and a ~10% bleach contained by water solution. I wipe down the ceiling and walls whenever the mildew get bad.
Answers: It probably is mildew, try spraying a Clorox/water solution on the ceiling.
