For those who live in the Arctic... does anyone hold the problem of mold on their windows...and it sometimes seep into the carpet (for the porch door for example)?
What is a good road to manage this? We hold tried using a fan and constantly drying the window with a towel...but it is getting to the point of kid sitting the windows adjectives day to keep hold of it dry. Opening the window is not an pick... we are not allowed to surrounded by our complex because the pipes will freeze.

Serious and polite answers only please. Thanks everyone.
Answers:    Have you tried using a dehumidifier? That might backing. (I know it might be hard to bring back one at this time of year.)

Right now I own the opposite problem, and the upper air is very dry. I don't hold an ice buildup on the window yet. When I lived surrounded by a different apartment a few years ago we washed the window thoroughly with bleach once contained by a while to kill the mold. If your window are causing so much moisture they probably aren't installed properly, which, as we would know, is a adjectives problem in Arctic. I own a friend who has more of a mold problem near her windows. I will check next to her and edit if she have any ideas. Best of luck next to finding a solution.
You're getting dampness within, and since it's a rental property, there really isn't much you can do. New double paned window would probably do the trick, but there is no mode I would spend my money on someone else's property. You might see if there are cracks that you could caulk, but by the sounds of it, it's the condensation from the window. For the doorway, you might try getting an insulated molding that would seal the doorway up. Check next to a hardware store and see if they have any design. Good luck. It sounds like you hold a real mess on your hand.
