This problem just started a few weeks ago. When turned on cold it's ok;but when rotated to hot side, the pressure drops off when hot hose starts comming out. All other faucets in house are ok.
shut the water off via the shut offs beneith your sink, unscrew the lever and remove the "ball"... inside near are two little gaskets and springs (1 right 1 left) you can pick up the replacements at either home depot or lowes, remove the gaskets and springs... chances are you enjoy some sort of blockage!! even if its a messed up gasket! just put in the bright springs/gaskets (like to like) and reassemble. that should do it! good luck The cartridge is defective or clogged,Replace it Or the stop spigot under the sink isn't turned all the method on.
bobby's answer sounds close to a Delta Faucet. Moen faucets do not have any gaskets, balls, or springs.
Joe here have a good answer.
for the moen, i'd replace the cartridge as your first move. if this doesn't work, an log jam has come up the pipe and is now lodged within the fixture body which will require "BACKFLUSHING" the faucet.
** point to remember**
most moen cartridges are guaranteed. check with Moen and they may send you a latest cartridge for free. hope you have the tally!

Answers: Close there bobby but thats a Delta you are thinking of
Theres a finger shaped videotape in the center under the pedal and a small horseshoe type clip that keeps it in place
Take bad handle
take out clip
remove the videotape
replace in reverse order
Note
if hot and cold are reversed remove the touch and clip again and retate the cartridge 180* and you will be fine
