Maytag Neptune using wrong temp sea? I have have a maytag neptune for about six years beside...

I have have a maytag neptune for about six years beside no problem. About six months ago, it started using hot when I had elected cold & visa versa. The clothes are rinsing on hot which leaves the wrinkled big time. For a wile i could switch it by pressing cold for hot & hot for cold. Now all it requirements to do is hot. I tried shutting the hot water spigot, but then it won't work at adjectives. I already had it "repaired" to the tune of 200 bucks! Seems worse than ever. Anyone else enjoy this trouble? I called MayTag, but they could not donate me any info & just told me to phone call a local repair person.
I have my first MT for 18 years, so I thought I would go next to it again, now I see I be wrong.

If you haven't changed the hoses at all, and you've be using this washer regularly with no problems, the heat switch has probably gone bleak. If the temperature switch itself have gone bad, here is no longer any control governing which side of the water-inlet valve is going to consent to water within."
