mine are making small anoying noises - can this be stopped
Probably best to purchase a new hanger-on that's a better quality.

It depends on the noise. If you move about to a computer store and purchase a small can of compressed air and afterwards go to a hardware store and purchase a can of WD-40 you can possibly stop the rumpus... To do this, stop the fan. Turn stale the power to the fan. Spray the compressed nouns into the fan making sure that you gain air across the areas that move. Once you spray it beside the air, follow it up next to a light spray of WD-40 using the spray straw. Again, person sure to spray it into the moving areas. BE CAREFUL THOUGH!!! Use it very weakly... you do not want to saturate the supporter. Once you spray the WD-40, turn the fan subsidise and forth by hand for several second to work the WD-40 in. Turn the power put a bet on on and try it.

If this does not work, chances are you any have a fruitless motor or the fan is not impartial.
Answers:    Better check beside the place you bought the fan. Most fan will NOT do well near WD40 nor oil; in general takes graphite similar to pencil front. If the wrong lubricant is used, you killed the motor and will hold to install a new enthusiast.
