Maglite 3watts 2D and regular 2D mag-lite flashlight? What's the diference

I assume the 3watt 2D has the LED light. The other have a regular mag-lite bulb. Also the price is about 10-20 dollars difference. The LED bulb is supposed to last longer and have a brighter light.

Answers:    fidel410 is correct. The 3 watt one is the L.E.D. (light emitting diode) version. I own the L.E.D. 3 AA mini-mag-lite and the 3 D mag-lite. They may be more expensive but well worth the money. I have two sets of rechargeable battery for each one so I never have a motionless light when I need one.
