We have a under-counter dishwasher within our kitchen. Two or three times during its cycle it emits a loud pulsation sound. The nouns lasts roughly one minute and then stops. It does not give the impression of being to impact how it is working, i.e. the dishes come out clean.
My current thinking is that the crack is coming from the water pump that extracts the 'used' debris water. It seem to match the duration of the rumbling and point in the cycle when the disturbance occurs. I enjoy looked to see if there is something jammed within the drain holes, but there isn't anything comprehensible.
Does anyone has any suggestions? I thought I would ask until that time I go to the trouble of pulling it out from below the counter.
Answers: Need more information here. How old is the component? If it's new, be it installed by a professional? It might need to be leveled.
Where does the drain hose run? Can you see it to examine it for kink? If it's an older part it may need servicing, the motor, pump etc.
