Lighting my Cozy gas furnace? I have a Cozy gas electric fire its dark brown something like...

I have a Cozy gas electric fire its dark brown something like 2 feet by 2 foot and I can't get it to stay lit. I've followed the directions which are hold the knob down at the "pilot" point ; wispy it ; hold for about a minute (I've held down for at most minuscule 5 minutes at one point) ; release the knob ; the pilot light should stay lit (it doesn't) ; afterwards move the know to the desired level. I lit and held the pilot reading light at least a dozen times and it be lit about three days ago so it's not the long unuse. I stipulation some advice going on for what im doing wrong with it what would brand name it stay lit. Please help any warning would be welcome.
Answers:    Check to take home sure you have a strong pilot oil lamp covering the tip of the thermocouple and it is screwed to the gas valve carefully if those look good replace the thermocouple they're inexpensive I would buy two to hold one on stock because it always seem that stuff goes bleak at the worst times (middle of the night, Sundays, Coldest hours of darkness of the year. at least that's my sort of luck :) Good luck
You have a desperate thermo coupling. Replace it and the heater will work! Or the thermo-coupler is not within the pilot flame properly, and needs in the swing of things.
