Okay, my light sensors own gone bad...1 be an 1800 watt, the other was a 1000 watt...the stores don't trade 1000 watt..is it safe to use an 1800 watt surrounded by the one that the 1000 watt came out of??
thnx
Answers: Yes if it will fit physically into the other fixture. The 1000 w fixture does not want the 1800 w sensor, but it will work fine safely if the voltage ratings are like peas in a pod.
You can, you just want to take care not to overload that sensor. Simply enough, for example, if you own six 75 watt lamps anyone controlled by that sensor, you're placing 450 watts of load on that sensor, departing you still over 1000 some odd watts to play beside. That's all in that is to it. Hope this helps
