To fix the problem: Caution, do not do this without making sure the power supply to the socket contained by question it totally shut rotten. (Step #1)

Step #1 - The best thing to do is to shut past its sell-by date the power to the socket. If you are not sure which breaker or fuse will do this then, turn on the fluffy with the broken bulbs and one remaining one that works.

Flip the circuit breakers (or remove fuses) one at a time, until you find the one that make that light walk out. When you have done this and the circuit is out, no electricity is coming to the outlet. If you are not sure you own turned off the right one, turn rotten all of them and use a flashlight to proceed.

#2 Now that the power supply is rotten, use a pliers (no mess or wet residue near this method) to grip the metal portion of the broken bulb and 'unscrew' it out of the socket.

No, it shouldn¡¯t hurt anything, but you can get it out impressively easily. Just cut a potato contained by half, kind sure the light or oil lamp is turned off or unplugged, place the cut train of the potato over the end of the broken bulb and lodge the bulb into the potato, and verbs as usual to remove the broken bulb. You'll probably need to dty past its sell-by date the socket and fixture before putting another bulb surrounded by as well, basically for good means.
