I have broken the light box surrounded by my overhead fan... some of the wires came dissconected... I muse it was a yellow rope and a black one? Anywayz, the lightbox is totally broken, but i think if i can get the lightbox to work consequently the fan will work again... sooooo does anyone have suggestions, tips, or possibly a website that can support?? PLEASE!!

Answers:    Locate the brand and model (try checking above the blades, on the motor casing) and go to the manufacturer's website. There you can generally find the electrical system diagrams and instruction manuals.

Be sure to cut all power to your fan's circuit at the breaker box. Just because it won't work doesn't miserable the wires can't harm you.
