Does anyone have any perception how much it would cost to replace the footings in a 800 square foot house beside a crawlspace. I dont have the slightest hypothesis whether this is something that will cost a couple thousand or 10,000. The floor joists are fine, the outside bounds foundation is fine, its the concrete blocks that are shifting and crumbling and need replaced. Anybody own any ballpark idea of how much it would cost?
Answers:    That's a wide open open give somebody the third degree. Depends on where you live. In the South you dont stipulation the footings as deep as you do within the North. Footings are probably where you problems started.
800 sq. foot on one smooth or two story? Sounds like your surrounded by for new footings and block work. I'm within the Northeast and up here you could run 15- 20K for a job similar to that. If it's just support piers underneath the house in the middle (you said the boundary is fine) it may only run a few K. Its too tough to tell minus seeing it so call a local mason for an accurate assessment. Or offer me some more info and I can narrow it down for you.
