There is a fan that turns on near the heater, but it seem like no gas go to the unit and zilch comes out of the unit.
No nouns comes out of the vents, but they will if i set the devotee to on.
It was working fine yesterday, but after it just stopped working.
Is within anything i can do to get it to work. There are 2 lights contained by the panel that flash slowely that are red and green together, which says is the correct operation.
The element is only roughly speaking 8 months old.
Answers: The LED lights flashing slowly are an indication of power to the component. The next step would be for the thermostat to ring up for heat. When that occur the LED lights go into a hastily flash mode. Does that occur? From in that various other problems can incentive the LED lights to provide a different signal to assist in determining the problem.
Please look at the LED lights through a cycle and report what happen to assist in diagnosis.
Also, is it a LNG or Natural gas?
You do not own a standing pilot, but rather an igniter, which will see for about 5 second to lit the gas. If the thermocouple doesn't sense a flame, the igniter turns off after 5 second or so. There should be an orange brilliance notable when it is lit. Do you see that or not
The lover coming on when you ask it to is normal operation and doesn't give support to in diagnosis.
When the part goes into the LED hurried flash mode, and remains ther for about 3-4 minutes minus and change, it indicates that in attendance is nothing within the preliminary steps that are wrong. The next step is to ask for gas to the igniter nouns. A fan will run to purge the nouns for about 15 second then, the igniter will wram up for in the region of 20-25 seconds, followed by a short 5-8 second to check the flame stability before allow the gas ports to friendly for full gas flow.
There is where your problem lies. If you hold propane gas, you could be out or the valve be turned off. If you colloquial gas, you should have a staedy gas supply. Thus, any the igniter is not working or the controller have not sensed the flame's presence. In either grip, it would require a service call.
Sorry I could not be of more minister to.
check the pilot
There is a valve that shuts rotten the gas flow check it it sometimes sticks and has to be replaced...
