My Lennox gas furnace Model # GH64-120S is about 50 years older. Recently, the furnace without grill on ;but the blower is running continuously. I think that the thermo parameter switch of the blower is bad. There are two switches. One is splashed blower control F214-12A-120-25 with graduation stale temp. 70 to 120. The other one is marked "Limit Control" #L-8A-5 beside graduation 120 to 200. Please help me to identify the prolbem and where on earth can I get the replacement parts.
Answers: Besides individual old and the bimetal contained by the switch being in poor health, a real hot morning will cause one of these switches to cut on due to boil build up in the combustion chamber.
Try adjust the blower switch to see if it will cut off. It may simply be stuck.
If that doesn't work, you are on the right track. An HVAC supply house is what you need.

The first switch will turn on your blower after the burners come on and boil up the plenum. I'm guessing there's a dial or some type of pointer on it. The temperature it's pointing to is the warmth the blower should come on at. Try turning it up to see if the blower shuts off. The second switch is a restrain switch that shuts the gas valve sour in armour your blower doesn't start. If you turn the fan control up to 120, produce sure the limit get set at least 20 degree or so higher. If the blower doesn't shut stale, the blower control is probably bad. Also, fashion sure you have the hanger-on switch on your thermostat set to Auto :)
