Leather protectant ?!!? i can't seem to find a water base leather protectant specifically for...

i can't seem to find a water base leather protectant specifically for bags.is it ok to use the ones for car interiors?
and also do i apply the protectant in recent times once or do i keep applying it over time?
Lock relieve?
We use Dubbin. You need to apply it every so habitually.

When did you ultimate use Wire Wool?
Answers:    I have not done this myself but I be told by a friend some time ago that they use the same leather protectant for there sports car and there furniture.
