Lawn Mower Won't Run Properly? I have a Briggs and Stratton push mower and I be...

I have a Briggs and Stratton push mower and I be mowing grass this morning and after about an hour the mower wouldn't run any more (there is gas within it). I can start it up and it will run at full power and if I don't move it, it won't quit. However, if I start walking, after about 10 second, it starts dying. Almost like it is getting too much fuel. It sputters and afterwards quits. After it sits there a few minutes, I can start it up and it will run not moving but after walking a few second, dies. I have cleaned the upper air filter good and it is dry. What could be wrong? How do I fix it?
One of two things are arranged you have something contained by your gas tank you can verbs take the cistern off verbs it out
your gas cap is unpromising the gas tank have to have presser
within the tank surrounded by order for the gas to achieve to the crab
its just resembling the gas cap on your coup¨¦
replace the cap

Did you check the plug? If it is fowling out it could spawn it lose power...when you hit the grass it could be too much of a strain on the mower.

Is the oil full? and another question--is the gas investigational? gas starts going bad after 30 days. Another article to consider is the level contained by the tank...it may of gotten to the 'gunk' at the bottom of the container (if it is an older B & S-like mine it have to be siphoned out-or the whole cistern has to come down).

I would look at the plug first. breed sure the gap is apposite, and the color of it looks good. If at hand is doubt, replace it.

If it still dies out, go to askmehelpdesk.com and the professionals in attendance will help ya out.
Answers:    Sounds close to a clogged fuel line. Look surrounded by the gas tank near a penlight. See stuff floating around in in that? If so, dump out the tank and put fresh fuel surrounded by. That might do it, but if the clog is further into the engine, you may need to burrow into the fuel smudge and carburetor. Don't be scared -- mower carbs are pretty simple things.
