Landlord won't hold an electrician check electrical electric wiring surrounded by my apartment???
About a week ago, all the overhead lights surrounded by my apartment would not turn on. My landlord call her brother over and they replaced a faulty rope in my bedroom ceiling. Then the stove wouldn't work...an electrician come and said they bumped the breaker out of place when they be fixing the other thing, and that's why the stove wouldn't dance on. He put the breaker back into place and the stove works. I reflect the landlord should check the electrical system to make sure everything is ok, but she keep fixing just the problems...She never have anyone come to look at all the electric wiring in the house. With what happen in the bedroom, is this an idication of a bigger problem?
Answers: fairly possibly could be a bigger problem. i highly recommend getting renters' insurance if you do not already enjoy a policy. then, if something be to really go wrong you won't lose everything. beside that said, she should follow up on your request to have the electric wiring checked. although i have prearranged some shady landlords who have handle situations similarly, only for me to find out they know the problem was much deeper adjectives along. that may be the case surrounded by your situation, she may know that she needs to drop alot contained by repairs, and simply doesn't want that extra expense right now. the law vary from state to state, but you do hold rights! call the better business contained by your city, they will know the local laws. i hope i be helpful!
i would speak NO it's not an indication of things to come. if the fuse box keeps tripping circuits ON IT'S OWN. i would devise differently. the fact that they're not doing that would indicate to me that near would be no need to check the electrics. how would you check the wiring? you have what would appear to me to be an isolated incident. if the lights start flickering, that might indicate poor wiring. THE FUSE BOX IS TELLING YOU THAT THE WIRING IS IN WORKING ORDER.
accurate luck to ya.
