We have a Kenmore Stackable Front Loading Washer 417.44042400. After a regular clean up cycle finished this evening the door has not unlocked. Tried to set the dust to the end of the cycle a few times to see if the latch would spring but it have not.

Any fixes? Or at least a opening to temporarily open so that the valet can be removed while waiting for service?

Answers:    remove the lower front panel use torx 15.reach up to the lock and verbs down on a ring that comes down below the lock Assembly and the door should open. The problem however can be any the Lock assy easy and cheap to replace or the computer straightforward to replace but expensive.
