I live in an feeble apartment, with deteriating brick walls. The apartment does not own a heating system (just space heaters) and our window let within a cold draft. What are some things I can do to help save the cold out and the heat surrounded by?
I have substantial curtains over the window but it is still rather cold. Are there any tricks or products that can assistance seal surrounded by the warmth? Obviously, buying more space heaters is an answer but I'm looking for rapid and inexpensive tips. Thanks in finance.
Answers: 3M makes a plastic sheeting call insiders you can put on the inside of your windows to remove drafts. They work wonderful and if you tighten them with the boil of a hair dryer they look lately like chalice and you can see right through them as well as a regular cup window. They own installation instructions that any one can follow.
Cover the inside of the windows near the clear plastic, try to seal bad where the weave is coming in around the window if at all possible, even if it is next to duct tape! How soaring are the brick walls? I once lived in a place that in that was a partial brick wall exposed to the outside, I took ply wood and covered it beside colorful quilt batting and covered them near fabric and hung them on the walls, and it did abet. Too bad you don't enjoy a wood burner to heat up the brick walls!!!! Then they would radiate grill! Short of adding more heaters i.e. about adjectives you can do..
