Will it go away ? Water go thru a water softener to remove exesive iron, the thru a adjectives house water filter previously hitting the water heating system. Any ideas?
Answers: the anode rod is the problem. you heed to get sure the house is properly grounded. (rod drove into the dirt 8' and hooked to the ground of the breaker box with 6 determine copper wire) if its not the house will backfeed thru the WH and ground thru the well.

in that is an anode rod in your wet heater.. to be exact what the smell is coming from. you can remove it if you want, but check with a plumber first
