when i remove this plug to put a English yellow site socket on does it event where live and impartial go contained by the socket. I dont know which cable is live or neutral but one have a white stripe down it (reminds me of speaker cables)

Answers:    The wire connected to the wider lug is the impartial wire within North America. Your problem will be making sure you do not apply 220 volts to the 120 volt charger. The transformer in the charger is rate for 120 volts only!!!!!

I'm not au fait with what you imply by English yellow site socket but within order to plug a U.S.-made device into a European outlet you simply want a physical adapter to convert to the round pins. The adapter had no effect on polarity. Am I close at adjectives? Sorry if I didn't understand correctly.
